Fantastic feedback on two of our Installers Ruben Pestana and Carm Reeve following a recent installation in a customers home.

It’s been six months since we launched our industry-first White Goods Installer Apprenticeship Programme here at Kaboodle. So, we thought we’d take a minute to talk to Kaboodle MD Matthew Pitt about how it all started and how it is going so far. Read the full interview here.

This year, for the third time, five of the Kaboodle Leadership Team will taking part in The Housebuilders Challenge, which will see them hiking for 10 hours up the Black Mountains to raise money for the Youth Adventure Trust.

Kaboodle are delighted to have launched into a new partnership with leading sustainability innovator in the home appliance industry, Glen Dimplex Home Appliances (GDHA). Going forward, Kaboodle, which has teams operating in Stevenage, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds and Telford, will be installing home appliances across every GDHA brand, nationally.

We’d like to say a big well done to Kaboodle Installers Ruben Pestana and Kamil Olejnik for successfully completing their gas safety qualification. We are extremely proud of Ruben and Kamil, who both joined Kaboodle in October 2022 and passed the 19-week course - seven weeks in the classroom and 12 weeks on-the-job training - with flying colours.

One of our proudest environmental moments has got to be the planting of 300 Mangrove Trees on Kaboodle's behalf in Tudor Creek, Kenya, in partnership with Mr Bamboo Cup and the awesome Eden Reforestation Projects. The trees were sown following the purchase of 300 reusable cups from eco-friendly drinkware company Mr Bamboo Cup, who, in return, pledged to plant a tree for EVERY cup bought.

Kaboodle’s Bristol Team are excited to get started on our first ever site for Redrow South Wales next month. Our team of experienced Bristol-based Kaboodle installers, who cover the West and Southwest of England and South Wales, will be installing a range of Electrolux Group appliances in 45 modern homes at Redrow’s Great Milton Park development in Newport, Wales.

Bradley Postance joined our Stevenage team as a Business Admin Apprentice in our Client Services Department, after seeing an opportunity to develop previous skills, while also opening up a new career path.

Sebastien (Seb) Brooke joined the Kaboodle apprenticeship scheme in September 2023 as one of our Apprentice Installers. Seb, who is doing the Gas Engineering Level 3 Apprenticeship, tells us a bit more why he wanted to do the apprenticeship, what skills he is learning and what is most interesting about the apprenticeship.

Ed Harrison joined the Kaboodle apprenticeship scheme in September 2023 as one of our Apprentice Installers. Ed, who is doing the Gas Engineering Level 3 Apprenticeship, explains how the role aligns with his career goals and aspirations. Ed said: "I am seeking a stable career path that offers both long-term growth and fulfilment."

Megan Jones joined the Kaboodle apprenticeship scheme in November 2023 in the role of Business Admin Apprentice. Megan explains how she likes having a mix of college and work and said: “No two days are the same in my role, which makes it fun, and I always look forward to coming in.”

We're proud to have secured a fantastic new project for Lovell Partnerships Ltd, on behalf of Latimer Homes, on a former Chocolate Factory site in York. The Kaboodle northern depot will be installing a mix of BSH Home Appliances Group (Bosch) and Whirlpool Corporation appliances, in 84 homes at the new Cocoa West site.
